Amidst the streets of Gianturco, in a Naples gone by that has kept alive its romantic secret stories in every corner, there’s a little old building. In this building there’s an ancient factory, family run, one of the most renowned of the city: the Stingo factory. It has been open since the 18th century, it has passed from generation to generation, from uncles to nephews to brothers until arriving to the Stingo siblings: Gennaro, Imma and Simona. Usually, when you think of factories the first things that come to mind are: greyness, machinery and alienation; But this particular one will make you think of color, craftsmanship and passion. Here ceramics are not just a business, but a magic cult, an infinite passion… “Perché quando a uno l’ piace ‘na cosa, nun se stanca maje”( because when someone is passionate about something they never grow tired of it)
